Kombucha Iceland
Ingredients
Kombucha Iceland starts with whole, fresh, organic and local ingredients. Three of them are in every bottle. The water is Icelandic and needs nothing done to it: glaciers and ice blanket more than one tenth of the island, and the country has been ranked the cleanest in the world. The sugar is organic and fair trade, and it is food for the culture rather than a sweetener. The culture itself is our own, and it has been with us since the first brew in 2016. What follows is everything else, the ingredients that tell one flavour from another.
01
Teas
Five varieties of hand selected, certified organic tea go into the range, and the tea is what gives every flavour its acidity and its dry finish. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua.

White Peony
China, Fujian Province
White Peony is named for the shape of its leaves, like a bud in early bloom. It is grown at an elevation of around 800 metres. After brewing the tea is clear and bright, with a mellow soybean milk aroma.
Japanese Sencha
Japan, Kyushu Province
Sencha is the most popular type of green tea in Japan. When brewed, this tea has a greenish gold colour, a refreshing aroma, and a good balance between astringency and sweetness.
Jasmine Tea
China, Hubei Province
Jasmine Tea is green tea scented by contact with jasmine blossoms. The resulting tea is subtly sweet and highly fragrant. It is the most famous scented tea in China.
Yunnan Schwarz
China, Yunnan Province
The best Yunnan is derived from tea bushes cultivated from indigenous tea trees and wild tea bushes. This gives Yunnan black teas a richness, softness and creamy mouthfeel that distinguishes them from most other Chinese black teas.
China Keemun
China, Hubei Province
Keemun black teas are known for their aromatic fragrance, mellow flavour and beautiful aesthetic value, as well as the brilliant red liquor the brewed leaves produce.

Fruits
What we pick and what we buy, depending on the season. Fruit goes in raw and ferments lightly, which is what keeps the flavour delicate rather than sweet. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua.

Crowberries
Wild foraged in Iceland
Crowberries thrive in colder climates and are packed with nutrients, antioxidants, minerals and vitamin C. Our berries are wild foraged, rinsed, then added directly to our kombucha without further processing.
Strawberries
Added raw, lightly fermented
Not only are strawberries delicious, they also boost our health. Adding them raw and lightly fermenting them is the secret to our delicate strawberry flavour.
Rhubarb
Sweet and tart
Rich in vitamins, fibre and minerals, we love the sweet tart taste it imparts to our kombucha.

Ginger
Certified organic
Native to Southeast Asia, ginger root has long been prized for its aromatic, culinary and medicinal properties. All of our ginger is certified organic.
04
Herbs
Picked from the garden where we can, and used fresh. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua.

Mint
Hand picked from our garden
Where available we use the seasonal chocolate mint variety, one of our favourite ingredients. The leaves are hand picked from our garden and have a delightful chocolate mint flavour.
Basil
Used fresh
Regarded as one of the healthiest herbs, it is best used fresh, just as we do. Its sweet, earthy scent indicates not only its aromatic flavour but also an impressive list of nutrients.
Every tea we use is hand selected and certified organic.
